Cianchette Auto - Terms and Conditions
By booking or scheduling an appointment with Cianchette Auto, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions.
Definitions
"Client": The individual or entity booking or receiving services from Cianchette Auto.
"Cianchette Auto": The company providing detailing and related services.
"Employees": Any staff member, representative, or contractor working for or on behalf of Cianchette Auto, including detailers and valet drivers.
"Service": Any detailing or associated task provided by Cianchette Auto.
"Valet Service": The pickup and delivery of client vehicles performed by Cianchette Auto personnel.
1. Liability Disclaimer
We use professional-grade equipment and chemicals, and all employees are trained in proper detailing techniques.
Cianchette Auto is not liable for damage resulting from detailing practices, including but not limited to:
Steam cleaning
Cleaning chemicals
Vacuuming
Brushes or tools used in detailing
The Client assumes all risks associated with the detailing process.
2. Hazardous Items & Safety
Clients must remove hazardous items from the vehicle before service.
The Client is liable for any injuries sustained by our employees due to hazards left in the vehicle, including but not limited to:
Blades, razors, needles, broken glass
Biohazards (blood, bodily fluids, sharp objects, etc.)
3. Valet Service
Our employees who provide vehicle pickup and delivery are licensed drivers, but Cianchette Auto does not provide insurance coverage for client vehicles during pickup, transport, or delivery.
Vehicles will be inspected and recorded (inside and out) before pickup and after delivery to document condition.
By using our valet service, the Client confirms the vehicle is fully insured under their own policy and accepts all responsibility for any risks, damages, or incidents that may occur while the vehicle is in transit.
4. Right to Refuse Service
Cianchette Auto reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to:
Presence of hazardous items
Scheduling conflicts or overbooking
Unfit vehicle conditions that pose a risk to employees or equipment
5. Appointment & Cancellation Policy
A reminder will be sent at least 12 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Clients must reschedule at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
Missed appointments without rescheduling will incur a 50% charge of the service cost.
6. Payment Terms
Full payment is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Accepted forms of payment: cash, check, and Venmo (@Luca-Cianchette, final 4 digits: 5822).
Clients are responsible for ensuring payments are sent to the correct account.
Failure to pay may result in additional fees, interest, or legal action.
7. Excessive Dirt, Pet Hair, or Soiling Charge
Cianchette Auto reserves the right to assess an additional charge for vehicles requiring significantly more time due to excessive dirt, pet hair, trash, grime, etc.
The Excessive Dirt Charge is $45 per additional hour required to complete the service.
This will be discussed with the client as needed and is designed to protect our time and labor.
8. Property & Personal Belongings
Cianchette Auto is not responsible for any personal property or items left in the vehicle, including but not limited to valuables, cash, jewelry, electronics, or miscellaneous items.
Any items found during service will be left in the vehicle to the best of our ability, but we do not assume responsibility for lost, misplaced, or damaged items.
Receipts, papers, and miscellaneous items may be discarded unless the client provides written instructions prior to the appointment to retain specific items.
Areas such as under seats, in dark or hidden compartments, and storage areas are vacuumed and cleaned without full visibility. Items lost or vacuumed from these areas are not the responsibility of Cianchette Auto.
9. Pre-Existing Damage
Cianchette Auto is not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, or wear and tear, including:
Scratches, dents, rock chips
Paint imperfections
Interior rips/stains
Any significant pre-existing conditions will be documented (photo/video) prior to service.
10. Satisfaction Guarantee / Re-Work Policy
If dissatisfied, clients must notify Cianchette Auto within 24 hours of service completion.
Reasonable re-work requests will be addressed, but refunds are not guaranteed.
11. Weather & Outdoor Conditions
If the detail is scheduled outdoors, Cianchette Auto reserves the right to reschedule or modify the service due to unsafe conditions (rain, extreme heat/cold, wind).
The client will be contacted to reschedule at the earliest convenience.
12. Travel Fee
Only Deluxe detailing packages include free valet service within 5 miles.
Locations 5 miles or more from our base may be subject to a $1 per mile charge (each way), at the discretion of Cianchette Auto.
13. Media Waiver
Vehicles may be photographed or recorded and shared on Cianchette Auto’s website and social media for marketing purposes.
Clients may opt out by submitting a written request prior to service.
14. Reviews, Feedback, and Public Commentary
Cianchette Auto values honest feedback and strives to provide quality service. If a client is dissatisfied, they agree to contact us directly within 24 hours of service completion to allow us the opportunity to resolve any concerns.
Clients acknowledge that leaving false, defamatory, or malicious reviews—whether online, in print, or otherwise—may be considered damaging and subject to legal action for libel, defamation, or business interference.
We encourage constructive feedback and will make reasonable efforts to correct any verified issues in accordance with our Satisfaction Guarantee / Re-Work Policy.
15. Car Seats & Child Safety Equipment
Cianchette Auto may remove car seats or child safety equipment during the detailing process for thorough cleaning access.
We do not reinstall car seats or guarantee proper reinstallation. It is the Client’s sole responsibility to inspect, reinstall, and ensure any child safety equipment is properly secured before operating the vehicle.
Cianchette Auto is not liable for any injury, accident, or damage resulting from the improper reinstallation or use of child safety equipment after service.
Car seats left in the vehicle will not be cleaned by default unless the client specifically requests car seat cleaning at $25 per seat, which must be scheduled in advance.
By booking service, the Client acknowledges and accepts these terms regarding car seats and child safety equipment.
16. Modifications to Terms
Cianchette Auto reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website.
